Iterative Thinking & Expansion
Writing & Mind Mapping
I start by jotting down every idea—bullets, sketches or full sentences—to clear my head. For bigger projects, I switch to digital mind maps (e.g. MindNode). They help me explore branches of thought while keeping key details in view.

Notability
Once I’ve nailed the scope, core features, design priorities, and requirements, I move into Notability. Sketching workflows here brings ideas to life, expands my thinking, and ensures each element aligns with project goals and user context.

Defining Goals & Task Groups
With requirements in hand, I turn them into clear goals—what the app must do, who it serves, and why it matters. Then I group related goals into task clusters (e.g., “User Onboarding” “User Registration”). Organizing by need and context keeps the process focused and ensures no critical steps slip through the cracks.

Wireframes
Next, I sketch wireframes to set up content hierarchy and spatial relationships. Fidelity depends on team size: loose sketches work for myself or small teams, while larger groups benefit from more detailed layouts to keep everyone aligned.
